Notes to Self

Johnny Cash’s notes surfaced to the internet a while back, but I just love reading through them from time to time. 

“Kiss June.” 

“Not smoke”

Do you ever writes notes to yourself of this nature? My to-do’s are quite banal and tend to relate to work and errands, but if I did write notes such as this, I think they would say . . .

*Read, and then read some more

*Take a walk

*Hold his hand

*Pray

*Pray again

*Stop scrutinizing yourself in the mirror

*Look out the bus window
*Work on your posture

*Smile.
